Who We Are
This Web site is sponsored by the farmer-leaders of the Missouri Beef Industry Council to provide beef producers with accurate information about issues related to production of beef, other livestock and the crops we raise for food and feed.
Despite providing Americans with an unsurpassed supply of safe, nutritious and high-quality food, U.S. producers are under attack by a number of activist groups who curse modern farm practices and products by creed but who continue to enjoy our many benefits by daily practice. Some people share our ongoing drive for production improvements; but many are too-often misled by misplaced fears or even the money that flows from professional alarmism. There’s a lot more than the facts at stake. If U.S producers aren’t free to raise food, how will people eat?
We want people to have the facts about U.S. agriculture; and who is better to stand up for safe and healthy food than the farm families of Missouri?
